the magical never-ending Christmas...

And just when the Grinch, Frosty and Pere Noel were becoming slightly less prominent in everyday life aboard Traveler, a package that left the far north (Canada) in early November, arrived! Seb opened it just after nap, and is perhaps still recovering from the shock - it was so exciting...

Daily routine

Here are some photos of us just hanging around on the weekend. Didn't leave the dock (how often do we anymore anyway). Seb and I watched a bit of Toy Story 2, Seb played where's the train, and Seb and mum did some art work. Of course, whenever a helicopter leaves the military base in front of us, Seb has to go to the window to watch and wave.

Birthday Party

Seb's friend Achille had a nice little birthday party on the beach last Sunday. He really enjoyed the cake!

Trip to Ile de Pins

It's been about two weeks, but I'm finally getting around to putting up some pictures about our trip to the south lagoon. Spent 8 days down at Ile de Pins, a nice little island in the south of New Cal. Anchored off a great beach and had some friends come down for 3 days by ferry. Weather was mixed but still really terrific. Made sure to get the kayaks and SUP going, even taking the dinghy to a secluded beach one morning. We're hoping to try and get back down there sometime in June again.

First day of school

Seb started his first day of daycare today. He's there everyday from 8am till 11am (at least that is the plan). Looks like he should have a lot of fun with a bunch of kids his own age and some new toys to play with.

Learning to start the boat

Seb has decided that keys are a wonderful new toy. As you can see, Dad tried to stay one step ahead by installing cables to keep the keys attached to the boat. Seb has also learned how fun it is to throw stuff off the boat.
